FAQ
How do I reserve a puppy?
We do all of our adoption process through GoodDog.com. You can apply for a specific puppy there. To check out our page, click here.
When can puppies go to their new homes?
Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks old, after their first vet visit at NVC Nederland, vaccinations, and deworming. If a puppy has not met certain milestone, we may require him to stay with us longer before rehoming.
Are the puppies registered?
Yes! All puppies come with AKC registration paperwork and full health records. Note: AKC Registation is only released upon the completion of spay/neuter in accordance with the adoption contract. For information on purchasing a puppy to breed, see below:
Are these puppies available for breeding?
Our puppies are sold as pets only. We require a signed spay/neuter agreement to be completed within the first six months. In some instances, we may allow a puppy to be sold for responsible breeding purposes. In those instances, please reach out to us for more details.
Can I visit the puppies before choosing one?
For the health and safety of our puppies (and their families), we don’t allow in-home visits. Instead, we share plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you can follow along as your puppy grows!
Where are you located? Do you offer delivery?
We’re located in Nederland, Texas. Local pickup is available, and we can also help arrange ground transport or a flight nanny if needed.
What comes with my puppy?
Each puppy goes home with a starter bag of food, a toy or blanket that smells like mom, health records, and lots of love from their first family.
